Botto Mechanical Corporation was established in 1965 by Irwin Botto in Hicksville, New York. Since its inception, the company has been in the business of designing and installing plumbing, fire protection, utility services, heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems to an ever-expanding list of institutional, commercial and public works clients.
Now a second generation of the Botto Family, Irwin Botto’s sons, James, John and Michael, are helping maintain the level of excellence, which has been responsible for the company’s extraordinary growth and success over the past decades.

Botto Mechanical Corporation History
The second generation of the Botto family – Irwin Botto’s sons James, John, and Michael – joined the company in the early 1990s after they completed their educations and extensive field training.
James J Botto, President, John M Botto, Vice President and Michael I Botto, Secretary; have maintained the level of excellence instilled in them by their father. That foundation has been an integral part of the company’s extraordinary success over the past several decades.

Surety Bonding
Our average sales range between $30-35 million dollars and we have a bonding program with Travelers Casualty & Surety Co. in excess of 80 million. We have up to $140 million in aggregate, and up to $40 million for any single project.
Staff & Certifications
Botto Mechanical Corporation has approximately one hundred full-time employees. The office is composed of engineers, estimators, project managers and administrative personnel. They are the backup for the team of supervisors, plumbers, steamfitters and service employees who work in the field. All employees, many of whom have been with the company for over years, are carefully selected for their talent, training, and experience in the industry.
Safety
Ensuring safety is a priority at Botto Mechanical. Our field personnel are required to receive their OSHA certification and to adhere to all safety guidelines put in place on all jobsites.
